LAKE DELTA —  Registration for the July Food Sense at the Lake Delta Firehouse will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, June 24, and 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 9.

For the Redeemer Church campus, it will be from 1 to 3 p.m. only on Friday, June 24. Pick up will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, July 29, for both campuses. Those who wish to participate in the Camden program should contact Stephenie at 315-795-9378 for more information.

The cost is $20.50 per unit and is payable at the time of registration by cash, check, or food stamps. It consists of ground beef, chicken leg meat pieces, pork kabobs, stuffed chicken breast, hot dogs, Hamburger Helper, chocolate chip cookie mix, egg noodles, frozen green beans, canned pears, and two fresh produce offerings.

The specials are: pork ribs, 4.5 lbs. (avg.) for $9.50 (St. Louis style); American cheese, 5 lbs. for $15.50 (sliced, not individually wrapped); french fries, 5 lbs. for $6.50 (ready to cook in the oven or fryer); Italian meatballs, 5 lbs. for $16.75 (fully-cooked and are in a five-pound bag); tilapia fillets, 2 lbs. for $7.75 (individually quick frozen in a two-pound bag); cheese ravioli, 6 lbs. for $13.50 (extra-large and filled with a five cheese blend).
